Seems that trunk/oe/packages/linux/linux-gta01/defconfig-fic-gta01 should set:
CONFIG_MTD_CMDLINE_PARTS=y (for NAND partitions in recent kernels)
CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSE=n (avoid prompting)

I also have the following older settings, which may or may not be needed 
anymore:
CONFIG_MTD_NAND_S3C2410_BBT=y
CONFIG_SND_S3C24XX_SOC_NEO1973_WM8753=y
