Summary: Kernel hangs if gsm modem is powered up
           Product: Neo1973 Hardware
           Version: GTA01Bv3
          Platform: Neo1973
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P2
         Component: GSM Modem
        AssignedTo: sean_chiang at fic.com.tw
        ReportedBy: daniel at totalueberwachung.de

If the GSM modem is powered up via
root at fic-gta01:~$ echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/gta01-pm-gsm.0/power_on
sometimes the system hangs. It will still react to pings but userspace is dead.

This usually happens if there are attempts to write to the GSM before the device
is powered up (like starting gsmd and then powering up GSM).
