Ok, I'm now more convinced that it's an actual hardware problem than ever. I
have swapped things among four devices, firmware, and SIM cards whatsoever and
the only constant is that of all my devices, I have only one that does not emit
this bug.

The ones that do emit the bug are:
 GTA01v4 (taipei)
 GTA02v5, #30 (taipei)
 GTA01v5, #60 (taipei)

The one that does not emit the bug is:

 GTA01v4 (suzhou, production model)
