Comment:

 It sounds a great deal like the wrong "polarity" of threshold interrupt is
 being selected, ie, interrupt when it's LESS than the threshold rather
 than more.  lis302dl supports both "polarities".

 cc-ing Simon Kagstrom since he wrote the threshold stuff.
