 I resumed the phone with the power button after a suspend of a few hours
 and the screen remained blank.  I was able to ssh into the phone through
 USB.

 I noticed

 [ 5561.885000] Alignment trap: enlightenment (1478) PC=0x404ed4ac
 Instr=0xe5923008 Address=0x405a20d5 FSR 0x013
 in dmesg (full log attached) but I am not sure if this is the cause or an
 effect.

 enlightenment and Xglamo were both still running (see below).

 This is with a gta02


 I feel this is different than #1952 because

 cat /sys/class/backlight/pcf50633-bl/brightness returned 0
 but echo "63" >/sys/class/backlight/pcf50633-bl/brightness  did not turn
 the display on and touching the screen after I did that did not turn the
 display on either.
