Actually doing so would be really bad as random network glitches,  
server restarts etc would cause you to get failed to deliver messages  
instead of mail server retrying delivery later and succeeding. But I  
must admit that it is really annoying to see the same messages over  
and over and over again. So much so that I'll be installing some sort  
of filter soon.

I wonder how the list-server is configured as this is the only list  
that has this problem. So either the other lists I use don't have  
gmail users or something is wrong with openmoko's server. Perhaps it  
has too much load or there is some nasty spam/virus filter box that  
isn't playing nice or something else. Anyways, it would be very nice  
if this problem could be fixed. Either by fixing the server or  
perhaps gmail users could stop mailing to this list :))
