Also, to piggyback on my own thread, Ralink releases driver code for
their chips, along with freely redistributable binary blob firmware,
and Marvell's chips have a functioning free driver, and will
eventually have free firmware as well, according to
http://www.gettysfamily.org/wordpress/?p=27. So, is the problem with
these companies that they don't offer anything that can be integrated
into a phone?
