How to get involved (HELP!!!)

Currently, bitbake perl does not work in the "native" build dir, while
it works with MACHINE="ep93xx". (I did a pull+update with monotone and
retried, but same error.) Without perl, most gpe apps do not build.

Isn't this strange?
