nope.  just a custom bitmap driver to push things into the right  
format for the accelerator.  cairo doesn't need to know about the  
accleration .. its just a primitives library with smart output stage ..

i've got cairo up on the GP2X, which incidentally has 2D  
acceleration, and that is abstracted out in the SDL layer, of which  
there is a customized version for GP2X ..
