I'll repeat this again - if you use an IAX2 softphone with an asterisk
server in the middle there is no work required.

Asterisk already has end to end encryption built in as standard.

But as you said this is only if your gprs have sufficient bandwidth (and
I'm certainly not sure the Neo cpu has enough horsepower either).
