This is exactly how I've been viewing the news. Companies which produce
hardware for mobile phones (e.g. wifi chipsets, 3D accelerators) will
now be under much greater pressure to develop Linux drivers for their
hardware. More mobile hardware supported by Linux can only be a good
thing!
