what's wrong with libgtkstylus? i thought it did that kind of thing and it's used (short survey via google) for xfce on internet tablet. additionally, i found a posting of someone doing that same thing to kdrive/tslib > http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg/2004-June/001233.html
