Basic questions about openmoko

Hello~

I have two simple questions about Openmoko develop.

Is it correct to transfer our projects ( like GPS ) from PC to
Openmoko by dfu ? and how? scp?

and should I flash kernel and fs of the device each time when I build
up a new project on it?
