Mediaplayer on 2007.2: gstreamer failed to initialize

I have the media player working fine, however I did do this..

I flashed to the latest stable kernel and root.

I did opkg update && opkg upgrade

it took a while but it seemed to update a lot of stuff.

(Why USB1 and not USB2???)
