syslog.conf

Hi,

could someone please give me a pointer to the structure of the 
/etc/syslog.conf? It looks neither like a normal syslog.conf
(http://linux.about.com/od/commands/l/blcmdl5_syslogc.htm) nor like the 
syslog-ng I am used to.
