ASU, exposure doesn't work

I am running ASU with a daily kernel and opkg-config from mwester.
(kernel_2.6.24+git25+8533927964761f4e2078ccd8607b90f5acc60b93-r1_om-gta02.ipk)

no more messages.
nothing new in dmesg.
nothing in /var/log/messages.

does anyone know where to look for the problem?
