HTC Dream / T-Mobile G1

Apparantly a phone with the Android OS has recently been released.  I know Android is also based on Linux.  Are there any plans to get openmoko running on that device?

Is it even feasible?  I wonder if we'd be able to use their kernel with openmoko code.  (I'm also imagining that if they don't like that, then tough cookies.  The GPL says we can get the source code if we want it)
