I've made my tests with:

   -- AccessPoint SMCWBR14-G2 EU, WEP mode, channel 7 (2442 Mhz)
   -- AccessPoint SMC2555W-AG, WPA mode, channel 7

and both work very reliable with the FR and the described config; see
