Yes for me at least.

Here: Intel Core2 Duo E4500 @ 2.20GHz with 2GB of RAM, and USB 2.0 
controller. My system was Vista but I just upgraded to Vista SP1 and the 
duration is about the same.

I suspect a problem with libusb on Vista.
