mofi - some developing?

hello there,

is there someone which develop mofi now?
i just ask because the date of the last beta is from 08.11.2008 
(http://projects.openmoko.org/frs/?group_id=165) and some bugs are "very" old 
and don't seem's to be closed.. :s

if it's isn't developed, may another wireless-manager could be used in shr? 
maybe wicd, knjMokoWifi or wlan, all in opkg.org ?

it's just a idea, but i think, it's better than a buggy version which isn't 
develop anymore..
