FR getting ethx name instead of usb0 when connected to PC

Are you using a recent QI to boot the FR?

One of the last changes in QI pass the cdc_ether mac addres to the kernel, if 
it has g_ether built-in creates the eth#, if g_ether is a module it does not 
see /proc/cmdline and creates a random mac with "local assignment" set.
