Hi,
I have been looking for a way to remotely wake up my openmoko
freerunner from suspend when it is charging from my PC. When I heard
of hub-ctrl from
http://www.gniibe.org/ac-power-by-usb/ac-power-control.html
I thought it would be a perfect solution since freerunner will wake up
if usb voltage state changes. When I disable the port of my hub with
hub-ctrl I can no long ping my phone over usb network. However, the 5V
voltage of the usb bus is still there and the phone can charge just
fine (and thus does not also resume from suspend when I "unpower" it).
Is this a violation of the USB specification?
