QtMoko - how do I get WiFi working?

welcome to the club.
looks pretty much like the well known wifi issue.
according to paul fertser (?) it is caused by a patch, which has --  
because of this issue -- recently been reverted.
there where some mails regarding that and even the name of the kernel  
package to try.
