Sorry - this description was quite confusing. Let me explain better:

Before this change when you were running X application and you got phone call 
or SMS the X application was still running and repainting same areas as Qtopia 
and also getting same key and mouse events. This was very inconvenient. Now i 
changed the behavior so that QX pauses the application and brings up the same 
dialog that you know from pressing AUX. It let's you continue the X app or 
kill it.

Another side effect is that the code is much more simple now and it avoids 
remapping the AUX button handling which was causing some problems before.
