Mer on Freerunner

Dear list:
 
Has anyone installed Mer [1] on a Freerunner?
 
I still have the SD card that came with my Freerunner (therefore 500 MB, I think). Is that enough to install Mer in it?
 
What about the graphical performance? Would you say it's better or worse than using SHR on Freerunner?
