Glad to hear no FR fried :)

But you not really right that this timings are influence only to
graphic. They should influence (may be a bit, but still influence) to
usd access speed/cpu load too. I didn't measure that.

Here have one idea to check, may be it'll fix that WS and rotation
issues together, i'll report later if it'll be ok.
