Anyone ever fixed the from 129 SMS on any distro?

Having recently come back to my FR after a year or so, I find it still gets the from 129 SMS after 
calling the voicemail. (I know what it is, I just want to fix it ;)

I was wondering if anyone ever fixed this on any distro, and if so how? I want to fix the problem on 
qtmoko, and copying what others have done would make it much easier.
