Forget about it

It was only that in Gennady's example configuration [1] "splashimage" variable 
was not defined:

splashimage=

It must be this one:

splashimage=nand read.e 0x32000000 splash 0x5000; unzip 0x32000000 0x8800000

for splash to be shown
