navit on qtmoko (via qx) / no gps

I have just installed qtmoko v39 on my freerunner which works very nicely.
one thing I have not managed to get going is navit/tangogps running on qx.

first I start gps manually.
gpsd is set to connect to /dev/ttySAC1
NeronGPS gets the fix. Navit or foxtrotgps don't.
Foxtrot gps is set to the default gpsd port 2947 (if I remember correctly).
