Yes, a firewall rule is set in /etc/rc.local to allow ssh only through
usb (and avoid it through hs0 (the GSM modem) and wlan0 (the wifi)).
I don't know iptables, but you can read the documentation and modify the
line in /etc/rc.local to adapt it to your needs.
