</div>About two years ago I was working on getting USB Host mode working<br>
"out of the box" on the GP2X, and I ran into this problem - the<br>
missing cap/resistor combo meant that the USB Host controller<br>
interface wasn't able to accurately determine what sort of node it was<br>
communicating with, and thus the onboard Linux driver tried to treat<br>
it as a hub node when it was really just a 'terminal' node. I don't<br>
have a reference for you on this, just going by memory ..<br>
