It was obviously not compiled for armv4?
If the provided source code you could
apt-get --build source navit
to get packages that work on your system.

BTW : we've added a Packages files to
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://download.navit-project.org/navit/openmoko/svn/">http://download.navit-project.org/navit/openmoko/svn/</a> so it can now be
used as a feed.<br>
