Hi and merry christmas to all.<br><br>How can i change illume configs for "Engine" from "SOFTWARE_16" to<br>
"SOFTWARE"? whis is the file to edit? did you have problem with qtopia (like sms app, dialer, ecc.) with the illume?<br><br>thanks<br>

Hi all!<br>
First of all, greetings for bring us OM 2008.12, it's probably one of<br>
the most great releases of OM<br>
(the boot in particular is reeeeally cool!).<br>

Now, I flashed it yesterday, as follows:<br>

>> dfu-util -a kernel -R -D Om2008.12-om-gta02.uImage.bin<br>
>> dfu-util -a rootfs -R -D Om2008.12-om-gta02.rootfs.jffs2<br>
>> dfu-util -a u-boot -R -D gta02v5_and_up-u-boot.bin<br>

And all it's ok. GSM works, SMS also, GPS, ssh and internet (through<br>
USB) out of the box, etc etc.<br>
I installed illume theme as follows:<br>

>> /etc/init.d/xserver-nodm stop<br>
>> vi /etc/enlightment/default-profile<br>
>> Change it in "-profile illume"<br>
>> shutdown now<br>

And after changing Illume configs for "Engine" from "SOFTWARE_16" to<br>
"SOFTWARE" it works very fine.<br>

BUT<br>
<br>
Sometimes, it appears almost randomly, OM 2008.12 freezes.<br>
It's a total blocking of the system, nothing works through touchscreen<br>
or ssh, and I'm forced to reboot.<br>
It could be while I'm using TangoGPS or while I'm pressing the answering<br>
button, when I talk or when I close a call.<br>

What do you think about this?<br>

I'll test OM 2008.12 for one or two days but, if this will continue, I<br>
will flash in SHR, in the hope<br>
it will increase the usability of the phone... but, it is a pity, OM<br>
2008.12 with illume is really cool ;)<br>
