well 'gpe-scap.desktop' is already there! And reads:<br><br>[Desktop Entry]<br>Name=Take Screenshot<br>Comment=Save a screenshot or upload it to <a href="http://handhelds.org/scap">http://handhelds.org/scap</a><br>
Exec=gpe-scap<br>Terminal=0 <br>Type=Application<br>Icon=gpe-scap.png<br>Categories=Action<br>StartupNotify=False<br><br>but don't get any icon on my Desktop. So something is wrong in that file?<br>

think about what will be captured if you issue that command from desktop :)<br>

One way: from Terminal (which is on desktop), issue this command:<br>
<br>
# sleep 5; gpe-scap<br>
<br>
then switch to the window you want, wait a while...<br>
<br>
Of course you can add your own gpe-scape.desktop which execute a shell<br>
script with content as above.<br>
