Thank you, Thomas, for your tutorial. 

I am also developing an input method and i have adapted the ecore bindings to 
make it possible to do it with python at 
http://git.iskrembilen.com/?p=omk/.git if you want to develop in python, the 
speed penalty is not any issue as evas does all the heavy work.

If anybody wants binary .so files for the bindings just send me an e-mail.
