Yes it's the same issue with Fedora ARM, it targets armv5.
But FWIW I learned the other day that Debian is already up and running
on our devices, just using stock Debian stuff. I am running it here as
my new "runlevel 3" world and it is very fine. aptitude from stock
debian repos works.

It's not exactly optimized for "phone" then but this definitely has its
