Somebody in the thread at some point said:
| Hi all,
|
| I'm trying to boot andy-traking kernel (from NAND) but I always get a
| Bad CRC rerror from U-Boot. What I've noticed is that the new kernel is
| considerably larger (2.3 mb instead of 1.7).
|
| Any one is having the same issue ? Should I update something or start
| using QI instead of U-Boot ?

Qi will fix it but you can also fix it in U-Boot, there's an env string
for boot action that is only pulling a fixed 2MByte from the kernel NAND
partition into SDRAM, you can meddle it to pull a larger amount, or use
SD Card boot that is able to determine kernel size from the filesystem.
