500mA should be fine to boot, the thing is typ 200-300mA at VB when
"busy" depending on what's going on.  If the GSM thing starts
transmitting though, that can easily pull >2A instantaneously.

We found strange crashes many months ago in U-Boot around enabling the
charger, it seems it can be the lowvsys thing going on maybe.  We never
figured it out and A6 acts different / better IIRC, presumably due to
size of the cap on VB_SYS.
