Unfotunately, Open Embedded does not run natively on OSX

You can install e.g. Debian/Ubuntu on Parallels, VMWare or VirtualBox  
and then run it in a box.

Another project in alpha stage is QuantumSTEP which will not only  
allow to crosscompile in Xcode but also bring a Cocoa compatible API  
to the FR.
