Displaying raw YUV420 images

Hello,

I am working on a mutimedia app and need to display QCIF sized YUV420 images
at about 12- 15 fps.

I have converted them to RGB24 and am able to display them using GTK, but
the frame rate is very poor. I have read some posts about glamo. Can I use
it to display YUV 420 frames at a better frame rate? Any pointers regarding
this?

Also, are there any other Direct Screen Access based techniques we can
employ so that I can speed up the frame rate.

Thanks!
Mohan
