Most of the OpenMoko u-boot work is not commited mainline. I was
thinking of doing it myself, but i didn't find the time to do it and
test it properly.

Yes it's a fork (long time ago - 2007 IIRC).

I don't relly know, i supouse nobody find the time neither the
motivation to send the patches upstream.
I started with u-boot early 2008 & openmoko late 2008. All the commits
come from 2007 (more or less).
