looks kind of odd. For reference my login screen looks like

under xserver-xglamo It looked quite ok also
with xf86-video-glamo 8062d7aa7bac7e06c1a00bd88ca78098550606ed so this
is a clear regression.

I am using

ii xserver-xorg 1:7.3+18
ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.4.2-10
ii xserver-xorg-dev 2:1.4.2-10
ii xserver-xorg-input-tslib 0.0.5-1
ii xserver-xorg-video-fbdev 1:0.4.0-1

and andy-tracking b8b36e5ec3db7 kernel just like last time.

I will try xorg 1.5 when it becomes possible (debian experimental
seems to be bit broken at the moment...)
