building shr locally

hi,

this issue still exists and is definitely an issue in the git repo or the Makefile.
Why i'm that sure?
I've upgraded to kubuntu 8.10 ( completly fresh install ), followed exactly the instructions in the wiki and still get the same error.

I really want to participiate in the project, but this is denied through stuff like this please help me to resolv.
I wonder no one else complained about this issue. Here are the steps i had done:

1. download Makefile
2. make setup ( works )
3. cd shr-testing
4. vi conf/local.conf ( enable multiprocessor lines )
5. make image leads to the following error
