| gta02_micro_defconfig i tried, this gives me roughly 908044. I thought
| i am doing something terribly wrong.

The "proposed" branch should get you an even smaller minimal kernel, but
it lacks things like a Glamo driver that make it... not entirely
useful... for boot menu task.

make ARCH=arm menuconfig
