Help with DFU Mode (P1 Device)

Thanks for all the replies.
I had a problem with routing, too. I manipulated my routing table 
according to:
    http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/USB_Networking
which finally brought a "root at fic-gta01:" prompt to my laptop screen. :D
