At least for this point I have an answerr ... I was using the wrong enviornment ... should be 

arm-2007q1-21-arm-none-linux-gnueabi.exe instead of 
arm-2007q1-21-arm-none-linux-eabi.exe

with this environment I'm now able to at least compile and run simple hello world application... more complex one will fail with  /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available

any idea ...
