Recommended image and kernel location (was: Re: Daily Snapshot Review 27 March 2008)

My apologies. The "snapshots" directory is a bad place for anything 
static because it is deleted and rsync'd to buildhost every so often.

Copies of Kevin's recommendations are at

Comments, complaints, etc. always welcome.
