Did anyone tell glamofb about this :-)  Because it can just come in and
do what it feels like at any time regardless of "not threaded" X state
or whatever modal juju it has put the glamo into.  Dunno what would
trigger it to do so though.

I was surprised to see "kernel" code like setting pll rates in xglamo,
if it is indeed anything to do with the problem maybe the answer is to
make ioctls to do all that in glamofb under a single locking system.
