"stable"

Hi,

Short question.

The term "stable" (including quotes!) started to appear all around* when 
wiki refers to Om 2008.8. Good way to increase the already existing 
uncertainty. Either call it stable or don't call it stable. Can someone 
please get an official Openmoko statement which releases are marked stable?

(I've seen the announcement, but still unsure.)

2008.8 released on 8/8/8 : stable?
2008.8 daily images in 
http://downloads.openmoko.org/releases/Om2008.8-update/ : stable?

We MUST entirely delete the quoted "stable" term. I think. :-(
