take a look at ubuntu's upstream report: useful tool?

100 projects in Ubuntu sorted by open bugs. It provides information
such as how many of those bugs are Triaged, how many have an upstream
task associated to them, and how well those bugs are being linked to
an upstream bug tracker.

I'm sure it takes a fair bit of work to set this up, but I just want to 
put this out as an idea, perhaps for somewhere in the future.
